• we are the 3rd planet.

When the rock falls so does the universe. Multiverse. Heart crushing sadness, desperation, fear. Fear, who knew it could be so heavy in the hands. When the rock rises, so does the sun. White, blinding, a smile that could melt the insides of the coldest soul. A dreamboat in his own right, puppy lips and the furled coat of a wise guardian. The protector is home, gaining strength every hour, and so is my mind. 

Waking up she felt content. She sleepily rolled towards the alarm, dogs quietly stirring. She blinked, twice, vision blurred. This place had grown foreign, stagnant in the motions.

Vision blurred, not by the rise of the sun but the fall of the moon.
